1 - 8" Chocolate Cake BC Cake Mix(Omit 1/2 Cup)
1/2 Cup Of Cake Flour (Replace of omitted cake mix)
1 Tbsp. Kahlua liq. For Cake
3/4 Qt. Real Whipped Cream
1/2 Tsp. Kahlua liq. For Frosting
1/2 Cup Confectioners Sugar (powdered)
1 Chunk Slab Of Semi Sweet Chocolate (Store)

Well if you crave chocholate, try this fabulous and light recipe for chocolate dreamcake. You can use any cake mix, I prefer BC brand with the oil instead of butter. Anyhow, you add 1/2 cup of cake flour to this recipe and omit 1/2 cup of BC cake mix. Use the chocolate BC cake mix. Use 1 - 8" cake pan. Let your cake rest 1/2 after its done at room temperature, then put it in the refrig to become firm and not crumble when you decorate it. You need real whip cream and chocolate 1" slab chunk for part of the frosting. Take a grater and shave the bar, just enough to coat the whole cake. The chocolate shavings should resemble curled shaped form. It doesn't have to be perfect thats the great part of this cake. Ok, make your real whip cream using the carton whipping cream and add your confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar) plus 1 Tsp. of real vanilla extract. Your ready to finish off this mom's chocolate dreamcake. Mom usually brings out the kaluhua and uses 1 Tbsp. to sprinkle on the cake before frosting. Ok, now cut the cake horizontally into three sections. The top cut will be around 1/4" down. The middle cut will be a 1/2 of the rest of the cake. Now that you have three sections, sprinkle lightly with the Kaluhua on each section. The top flip it over when sprinkling. After this step then you will start with the bottom level, put the real whipped cream onto the bottom section, put the middle section on top, then put more of the real whipped cream onto the middle section, then put the top on. This is you base of the cake. Now put the real whipped cream over the rest of the cake until fully covered. The cake should look all white. And last the yummy part which is the shaved chocolate. Put the shaved chocolate over the entire cake, top and sides fully with this shaved chocolate. My mom usually holds the cake in one hand and sprinkles the shaved chocolate on the cake over a cookie sheet to catch the shaved chocolate until it's covered. Put your cake back into the refrig until ready to eat. (My mom owned a successful bakery, retired now) This 8"cake will feed 10 people. Enjoy!
